Melissa Marino Joins Growing Catalyst Communications Group Team
Catalyst Communications Group, a leading media relations and consulting firm, is pleased to announce the hire of Melissa Marino as a Media Relations Specialist. Melissa joins Catalyst after spending 16 years in local news, including the last decade at News Channel 8 in Tampa.

Melissa began her news career at FOX43 in her hometown of York, Pennsylvania. She spent the last decade at News Channel 8 in Tampa covering every major hurricane, elections, and some of Tampa Bay's biggest moments, including Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Lightning Championships. Melissa also covered the Tokyo Olympics, where she spent a month in Japan covering the games during the pandemic. Melissa's coverage has earned regional and national recognition, including Emmy and Edward R. Murrow award-winning coverage.
