Preston Rudie, founder and CEO of Catalyst Communications, reached the top of Mount Kilimanjaro in September 2023 learning valuable lessons along the trek.

TAMPA, FL  – Preston Rudie, the founder and CEO of Catalyst Communications Group, has recently been featured in a profile by the Business Observer— shedding light on his recent triumph: conquering Mount Kilimanjaro.

Rudie's ascent to the summit of Africa's highest peak not only marks a personal achievement but also symbolizes his unwavering commitment to overcoming challenges in life and business.

Two primary objectives drove his ambitious trek in September 2023. Rudie aimed to prove his own capabilities and garner valuable life lessons to share with his daughter. "She continues to get older, and I want to show her that if you put your mind to something, you can do it," Rudie shared with Louis Lloviois, an editor at the Business Observer.

Mount Kilimanjaro, situated in Tanzania, East Africa, towers at 19,341 feet (5,895 meters) above sea level. It is estimated 35,000 people attempt to climb Kilimanjaro each year. However, only two-thirds are successful due to altitude sickness and other health problems.
