Catalyst Communications Group Introduces Matthew Conroy

Catalyst Communications Group, a leading media relations and consulting firm, is excited to announce the addition of Matthew Conroy as a Media Relations Specialist. Conroy is a recent graduate of the University of Tampa.

Conroy joins Catalyst Communications Group after receiving his Bachelor's of Arts in Advertising and Public Relations from the University of Tampa in May 2025. At the University of Tampa, he was a staff writer for the university's newspaper, the Minaret. Previously, he was a communications and public affairs intern at the American Red Cross Central Florida where he managed their social media during the active 2024 hurricane season.

“I am excited to join the Catalyst team,” Conroy said. “It is an honor to be a part of this fantastic organization and to learn and gain experience in the communications industry. Catalyst offers a great opportunity to get involved in the community and make lasting contributions to the Tampa Bay area.”

When he is not at work, Conroy loves spending time with family and friends, cooking and playing basketball and baseball. Originally from Poughquag, NY, Conroy now lives in Tampa.
