Peter Roghaar joins Catalyst Communications Group as Executive Vice President

Catalyst Communications Group, a leading media relations and consulting firm, is pleased to announce the hire of Peter Roghaar as Executive Vice President.  Roghaar joins Catalyst after a long career in local TV leadership including six years as News Director at WTSP in Tampa and ten years as News Director at WPTV in West Palm Beach.

“I have known Peter since 2010 when I first worked with him at WTSP,” said Catalyst Founder and CEO Preston Rudie. “He is a proven leader and his insights and business acumen will be invaluable not only to our clients but in helping Catalyst expand to other cities in Florida.”

Roghaar also worked at TV stations in Boston, Atlanta, Miami and Austin.  Following his work in the newsroom, Roghaar spent six years as a Business Growth Strategist in Tampa helping businesses reach new customers and increase revenue.  He is also an entrepreneur investing in a franchise moving business in Gainesville, FL.

Roghaar is a graduate of the University of Miami where he met his wife. They have three grown children who are all University of Florida graduates.
