Tampa, FL — Catalyst Communications Group proudly celebrates the inclusion of Christina Barker into the esteemed ranks of Tampa Bay’s most influential business leaders.

For the second year in row, Barker was included in The Tampa Bay Business Journal’s annual Power 100 List — spotlighting trailblazers shaping the economic landscape of the region.

Barker currently works with Catalyst Communications Group as a consultant. In addition, she serves as the chief of staff at the Vinik Family Office, offering strategic counsel to Jeff Vinik, the owner of the Tampa Bay Lightning, on matters of public policy and strategic initiatives.

Under Barker's astute guidance, Vinik helped champion significant endeavors such as the ‘All for Transportation’ referendum, which Barker served as co-chair. Her sphere of influence has transcended into other public service areas. Before joining the Vinik Family Office, Barker also contributed her talents as a special assistant to former Tampa Mayor Bob Buckhorn.

“Christina’s profound insights, expertise, and impact serve as pivotal assets, driving exceptional outcomes for our clients,” stated Preston Rudie, Founder and CEO of Catalyst Communications Group.

The 2023 edition of the Power 100 List featured 25 remarkable women, including Barker.

The Business Journal’s editorial team looks for individuals who, whether overtly or quietly, through philanthropy or institutional initiatives, sculpt the trajectory and prosperity of the Tampa Bay business community.

“It's truly a privilege to be counted among the remarkable community leaders shaping the landscape of Tampa Bay. The tremendous growth and success our region has witnessed in recent years are the result of substantial collaboration between the public and private sectors and I look forward to continuing to work on initiatives that enrich our region with character and make this an even better place to live,” said Christina Barker.
